Andrew Brennan
Anchor & Reporter, CP24
Andrew Brennan is an anchor and reporter for CP24. An award-winning journalist who grew up in Toronto’s west end, Andrew has covered more than a dozen election campaigns from local to federal, as well as politics at Queen’s Park in Toronto and the Quebec National Assembly. Whether reporting from the anchor desk or out in the field, he has been witness to some of the biggest and consequential stories of our time—inside COVID-19 patient wards and "Freedom Convoy" protests during the height of the pandemic, in the courtroom for the Luka Magnotta and Richard Bain murder trials, as well as in the stands for the Toronto Blue Jays’ prolific World Series run. Born in Toronto, Andrew worked in radio and television for more than a decade in Montreal before making his return down the 401, proudly reporting for the network he grew up watching. He is an alumnus of the Etobicoke School of the Arts, where he majored in music theatre, and graduated from Montreal's Concordia University with a double major in journalism and communication studies. Andrew loves to sing and play music, talking about our place in the cosmos, and catching a Jays game. He speaks English and French.
