Some school boards are cancelling student transportation on Tuesday morning due to a freezing rain warning that is in effect across the region.
Here is a list of school bus cancellations and delays in the GTHA:
Durham Region:
Buses to schools in the Durham District School Board and the Durham Catholic District School Board are cancelled for the day.
Halton Region:
All buses to schools in the Halton District School Board and the Halton Catholic District School Board in zones 1, 2, and 3 are cancelled for the day. Schools remain open.
Hamilton:
Hamilton-Wentworth Student Transportation Services says buses are running and school are open but some delays have been reported.
Peel Region:
Student Transportation of Peel Region said buses to schools in Zone 3 have been cancelled for the day.
Toronto:
The Toronto Catholic District School Board and the Toronto District School Board says some school bus delays are possible today due to the inclement weather.
York Region:
Buses to schools in the York District School Board and York Catholic District School Board are cancelled for the day. Schools remain open.
