Gardiner Expressway westbound reopened after multi-vehicle crash near Jameson Avenue

All traffic heading westbound is being diverted to Jameson Ave. Drivers are being urged to use alternative routes.

All westbound lanes of the Gardiner Expressway have now reopened following a multi-vehicle crash early Saturday morning.

Toronto police say the crash happened at around 4:09 a.m. on the westbound Gardiner near Jameson Avenue.

One person was transported to hospital by paramedics with serious injuries, officials noted.

Westbound lanes were temporarily closed while emergency crews responded and investigated, with drivers urged to use alternate routes.

Police later confirmed all lanes have since reopened.
