Peel police say three men have been charged in connection with a tow-truck-related shooting in Brampton earlier this year.
Officers were originally called at around 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 7 to a parking lot near McVean Drive and Castlemore Road, where an altercation between two groups ended with shots fired.

Police say one person suffered minor physical injuries.
After what police describe as a “lengthy investigation,” officers executed a search warrant last month at a Caledon residence on Nov. 20 and arrested three men allegedly linked to one of the involved groups.
26-year-old Manjot Bhatti is charged with intentionally discharging a firearm recklessly, possession of a loaded prohibited or restricted firearm, careless storage of a firearm, carrying a concealed weapon, knowledge of unauthorized possession of a firearm, and occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm.
He was held for a bail hearing and later released on bail, police said.
Navjot Bhatti, 27, and Amanjot Bhatti, 22, are each charged with occupant of a motor vehicle knowing there was a firearm.
Both were released on undertakings with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Police are still working to identify individuals from the second group, including a suspect captured in the image provided by investigators. The man is described as South Asian and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, and white running shoes.
Anyone with information is asked to come forward and contact Peel police.
