A woman is dead after a crash on Highway 401 in Mississauga Thursday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police said emergency crews were called to the scene near Dixie Road at approximately 6:10 a.m. for a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.
The OPP identified the deceased as a 32-year-old woman from Ottawa.
All eastbound collector lanes were closed for several hours following the crash but have since reopened, the OPP said.
No other details have been released by police.
