A man is in hospital after being stabbed in a cellphone store in the city’s east end on Wednesday afternoon.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Main Street and Danforth Avenue shortly after 2 p.m. for a stabbing.

Toronto police said an unknown suspect approached the victim and had a brief verbal interaction with him.
The suspect then stabbed the victim and fled the area on foot, heading east along Danforth Avenue, police said.
Meanwhile, the victim was subsequently taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

A man who identified himself as a friend of the cellphone store owner told CTV News Toronto that there was an argument involving a customer.
The owner, he said, then got stabbed in the arm.
Police described the suspect as a 30-year-old man, six feet tall with a medium build, black braids and a short black beard.
They have released images of the suspect.

He was last seen wearing a black and grey puffer jacket, blue jeans and a black backpack.
