Anyone missing jewelry or some sentimental items might want to get in touch with the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS).

WRPS officers took part in Project Gold Lake, leading to the search of a home in Vaughan on Monday.

Police said they found jewelry, sentimental property and various types of currency.

A 44-year-old man from Vaughan was arrested and charged with break and enter, failure to comply with an undertaking, operating while prohibited, dangerous operation, possession of property obtained by crime and resisting a peace officer.

Anyone who was the victim of a break-in between Oct. 2025 and Jan. 2026 is urged to review a series of photographs released by police, and reach out to WRPS if they recognize any of the items.
