A pedestrian has been seriously injured following a hit-and-run crash in downtown Toronto on Sunday night.

The collision happened near Queens Park Crescent and St. Joseph Street, south of Bloor Street West.

Toronto police said they were called to that area around 8:40 p.m. for reports of a pedestrian that had been struck by a vehicle.
