Police are searching for a man who allegedly attempted to light a person’s jacket on fire at Kennedy Station on Sunday evening.

Toronto police have issued a public safety alert after a man attempted to light a person’s jacket on fire at Kennedy Station.

The incident occurred on Sunday at about 6:30 a.m. on the subway station’s platform.

The victim was not injured, police said.

The man, whom they are calling a “person of interest,” fled the area.

He is described as 25 to 30 years old and was last seen wearing a black jacket, gray pants, and black running shoes, and carrying a red bag.
